Are your wigs made with 100% human hair?
Yes, all LC Wigs are made from 100% virgin hair – no chemically processed or synthetic hair. This means you get to choose from a full range of 100% natural hair textures, and experience the joy of wearing hair that feels, moves, falls and washes just like your own hair!

What can I expect from our first meeting?
We invite you to bring yourself, exactly as you are – along with your hopes, concerns, dreams and wig wish-list! We know hair, and the challenges that can come with it, can feel vulnerable for many women. We’re to listen and get a good understanding of your needs, so that we can create a wig that you love and feel 100% comfortable wearing.

How long does it take to custom-make a wig?
We have a huge selection of wigs that are already made for you to try on. If you find a piece you love, it takes approximately 1-2 weeks to customise. That could mean- resizing, colouring , building a hairline, cutting etc to make it perfect for you.
If there is nothing that works for you on hand, or were needing something extra special, then End-to-end, a custom wig takes 3 months to make from the time we find the right hair for you. The hair selection process can take anywhere between 1-4 weeks.

Do you sell LC Wigs online?
We don’t sell our wigs online, and this is because all our wigs are bespoke, every detail tailored to suit each individual’s needs. This level of customisation cannot be achieved in an online sale.

I live interstate, – do you sell wigs across Australia?
Yes we do! Email us at to start the conversation, including photos of your hair, styles you like, and what you want to get out of your wig. From there we’ll take head measurements for cap size, and guide you through every step of the way. We encourage you to jump on a video call with us to get a full picture of your face, hair, body shape so that we can provide the best advice and create a wig that is perfect for you.

How do I know which wig type, style or size will suit me?
In our experience, generally your natural (bio) hair will suit you best, and so we aim to create a wig that looks and feels as close to your bio hair as possible. As part of our bespoke process, we guide you from start to finish to co-create a wig that you feel 100% comfortable with. You’re in good hands!

Can I bring a support person to my appointment?
Absolutely! We invite you to bring a friend, family member or partner to help guide you in this very exciting and important purchase.

How long can I expect my wig to last?
With proper care and maintenance including hair and colour touch ups, a wig can last 2-5 years.

How should I store my wig?
Wigs are best stored in a dry shaded area, and on a styrofoam head to hold the shape of your wig. Avoid storage in a bathroom where it’s humid, and opt for a cupboard or on a dresser. Avoid direct sunlight.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, electronic bank transfers (must clear prior to collection) or cash. We do not accept cheques.

What is your return policy?
We do not offer wig returns or refunds of any kind. Ensuring you are 100% happy and working with you to perfect your wig is our number one priority.

Can I claim my wig purchase from my private health fund?
There are many health funds that cover wigs needed for medical reasons, and this will vary by fund. Please contact your health fund provider to discuss your particular claim and cover. We are happy to provide any receipts and documents you require to help you cover the cost.

Do you offer warranty on your wigs?
Yes. We offer a 6-month manufacturing warranty on all LC Wigs, this includes any workmanship issues. Please note, there is no warranty on lace. Any damage or rip to the lace is the responsibility of the wearer.

Yes, our wig shop in Melbourne is opening soon and you are always welcome to come and have a chat with our team about how we can help.

Yes, all our wigs are hand made in our Melbourne workshop, specifically designed to customer needs through our bespoke process.
